Bought the game, download isn't a .exe, it's a "file"

Post by Lavidicus » Fri Aug 22, 2014 2:04 am

So, I bought the game yesterday, and downloaded the setup last night. The problem is that the file: DangerousRays_Alpha14_Setup is not an .exe (executable file), or a program, but instead is a generic file. When I click the setup to start it, it asks me how to open the file, because it's not recognized as a .exe.

So, what do I need to do? I've already downloaded the file 2 times(taking 2 of my 3 downloads) thinking maybe the first version was a botched download, but it's the same issue.

The game looks interesting, which is why I bought it even in Alpha build, but as is, I bought "poof" nothing. So if you can help me figure this out, I will be much obliged!

Hello Lavidicus,

This can happen sometime. You just need to rename the file and add the ".exe" extension to it and it should work.
