Through the woods...Alpha 7

Installed alpha 7 and right off the bat it seems I found more loot than before. :D

Zombie girl seems tougher than before....one shot before 7... now a few this time and she kept coming!! The ax I found finished the job.

So I set off through the woods looking to cross zones.

Now I kept my found weapons and food stuffs. Great!! :ymapplause:

You really shouldn't let zombies drive... found a car in a house. :-o

Am I the only person with really fucked up terrain generation? I haven't mentioned it before, because I thought it was a known work-in-progress, and that it was simply well-hidden in advertisements, but as I see player screenshots more and more, I realize that I'm having issues other people don't seem to be having...

And yes I believe loot became more abundant in TA7; I was able to survive my first night with an M9 and vZ Scorpion with a box of .32 HP! I finally lived long enough to use the sleep feature.

Am I the only person with really fucked up terrain generation?
If you have an intel graphic chipset then the world generation will not work correctly and you will have some huge relief bugs and things like that.

The weather is getting better and better....I thought I was going to see a tornado....

All in all...alpha 7 is very stable for me....sans a few graphical glithching. I have seem zombies hit a fence and then disappear for a second to readjust location not far away.

Alright, good to know. I don't request you get working on it anytime soon; "real" PC players (the ones you should care the most about) aren't going to be affected by the bug. Just keep on making great content. :)

I saw that kind of glitches trying to make additionnal screenshots on the following configuration this week:
  • processor AMD Phenom II X4 945 @ 3GHz
  • 4 GiB RAM
  • good ole' ATI HD5770 GPU with "Rage" experimental driver
  • screen with s***y resolution of 1366×768 px @ 60Hz
  • Dangerous Rays Alpha 6
I am note sure it comes from Intel HD graphics as the motherboard did not come with VGA/DVI output, so I though it could come from the experimental driver. I should try with later updates of DR (and later drivers maybe... :D )

Edit: Looking precisely at the screenshots above, I don't have the over-bumpy terrain generation, only the trouble to print the screen...
