Hi abelro,

I had a chance to get S.T.A.L.K.E.R.:LA about in the same time I got DR. I just played the few first minutes, I've got a lot to do now. :D
Well, I did not played enough to experience crashes or bug, but if the XR Engine is an improvement of the one used for Call Of Prypiat, it should not be as prompt to crash as the engine of Shadow Of Chernobyl. Maybe scripts for quests are ... playing will tell ...

This is time consuming, but not lost ! These few minutes of game were a beautiful rediscovery of Shadow Of Chernobyl. :)

I apologize if my english is not well, I am not a native speaker.

Regards.

I finally installed Lost Alpha last night. After an hour of play I had not experienced any crashes...not to say non were lurking like snorks. I did notice the game wasn't keeping any saves I was doing. The screenshot didn't seem to be saved either in the program files folder, my pictures or appdata. :-?

But the Shrubbery... the shrubbery is way out of control!! :)) Even at the well traveled STALKER camps the amount of foliage was over the top. 8-|

Voodoom I'll have to look at the bug list link.

I installled the game in my Windows 7 64bit partition which I keep for compatibility sake in some of my older games ( I still have a Windows 98se machine around for some good old DOS gaming. :-B

Well back to work for me... ( I just walked in to work and checked my forums first) ;)

Take it easy STALKERS.

Some Screen shots after reinstalling the game. Seems that installing Lost Alpha outside of the default Program files location lets you save the game progress correctly. Also it will let you take screenshots as well. :D
